RE: Get personalized assistance for your international travel - CoolCousin

Hi! to be honest I have some difficulty understanding things. I love the concept of CC as it encourages locals to give advice and insights that can not be found on other commercial platforms. HOWEVER, I see a bit of a gap. In my mind the company's ICO might bring a lot of value to the company and its owners as it will be a great way to get funded. Having said that, I do not see the value for the users. The platform already consists of 500K users (supposedly) with only 1000 locals catering to the needs of those users. How will it be beneficial to the users if they now have to pay locals for their advice? And why was this done through a crypto token and not through any other conventional currency? What it the end benefit of the blockchain, and how is this different from a simple monetisation approach where travellers pay users and CC gets a commission?
