Almost a year ago, I've seen the ICO called Phantasma and invested in it. Ian Balina was(and still is) their advisor, that is how I noticed them.
Then, Fabio Canesin (who is the ceo of NEX!) joined their team as an advisor. Then, Bluzelle's CTO Neeraj Murarka joined as an advisor too! They are not only their advisor, Phantasma have business partneship with NEX and Bluzelle too! So they will be able to use NEX's trading and converting features, as well as Bluzelle's database services.
But first things first, what is Phantasma?

We use internet. But all of our data is stored in the computers/databases of big multinational companies. We are using those services mostly free, that means that "we are the product". You can be assured that they are using our data and generating revenue with them.
Also, We see a lot of news about hacked company websites/databases everywhere, even most secure companies can be hacked. We cannot and should not trust them. So what is the solution? It is blockchain. We need to keep our data decentralized, and secure it with our private key. Phantasma does this brilliantly.
Phantasma assures that our data (photos, videos, emails, confidential documents etc.) are in our own control, and if we want to sell them and get some revenue, we will get the credit, not some third party website.
Mainnet is Coming!
Having Mainnet release in Q1 2019, Phantasma's roadmap is pretty awesome in 2019. Phantasma Digital Commerce will begin in Q2, numerous dApps in Q3, and video streaming in Q4.
dApps from Other Chains!
Phantasma is an open source platform so developers will run their own dApps on it.
Furthermore, The Phantasma App will have lots of brilliant dApps from other chains such as Ethereum and NEO! I believe this list will have many more different chains and dApps in the future.
Phantasma aims for usable scenarios like decentralized email, chat, marketplace, content streaming (video, sound) and so on. I believe this will bring adoption pretty fast to them.

Interoperability is another key point here. Let's assume we have an email service on Phantasma, it will be compatible with regular email providers (not on blockchain!). So this will be great for adoption, people can use secure emails (only opens with their private key, therefore no one else can read the mails. ) on Phantasma while seeing their favorite email provider's interface. Brilliant isn't it?
In Conclusion
I believe Phantasma is a down-to-earth project and this will make it very successful, making it one of the first chain to be used in practical services like decentralized emails and streaming. Also companies can keep their info on it and have a dApp for their customers or their workers. I cannot wait to see how their first dApps will be. We will see it in 3 quarters :)
