And the United Nations is also the organization attracted to this cutting-edge technology for social innovation.

Because the event was great, I was searching for a similar event.
Yesterday, I found this.
Blockchain for the UN Global Goals
Sounds very interesting.
I tried to register it.
Then,,, found something wrong.
First, I could not find the sponsor’s name.
Second, the site doesn’t require ID for registration although UN events usually require it.
Third, the location is weird. Why SoHo?
I asked my friend in the United Nations who works for its blockchain projects.
He did not know anything about this.
Yes, this is SCAM.
Too Many Scam!
He also told me that now there are a lot of SCAM events which names UN. These shameless imposters use the organization’s name and get registration fees.

The website is beautiful, the event info is detailed, and the speakers are the authorities.
Even they have Youtube about this event which shows some politicians address speech.
Looks very reliable, isn't it?
But I NEVER heard this kind of organization and event from UN staffs...
So, Here is a warning.
**If you find UN-related blockchain events, be cautious!

You should check the official UN website and ask to them.
There are too many Scams, but sometimes we can meet a great event as I introduced at the beginning! Be careful, and enjoy blockchain world!

もしも国連イベントに出たことがなかったら、
国連スタッフに知人がいなかったら、
確認していなかったら、、、
私も騙されていたかもしれません。
今、国連関連の詐欺はとても多いのだそう。
これはNYの話にはなりますが、出張等の合間にこういったイベントに参加される方も多いかと思います。
