Pre blockchain the internet was a wooden dining table. We could all sit around it and build structures, but it was more 'stacking' than 'building.'
Any one of us or a passing bully, could knock anything down any time, which limited what we could assemble.
Blockchains let us drill into the table top, and anchor our creations permanently.
This gives us huge scope to build incredible new structures, which can support a whole lot of different stuff.
