Yeah, the regulators can be seen as putting up unnecessary red tapes around innovation, but as long as a service needs to be operated in the country, I guess the governemnt still have jurisdiction, eh?

I would think so @maverickfoo. Especially with something like taxis which, in the UK at least, you have to have a license for in order to legally operate.
