Invest in ICO using Coinbase and Trust in less than 1 minute

Coinbase is the world’s most popular bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum, and litecoin wallet.

Trust Wallet is a simple and secure mobile-first wallet for Ethereum and ERC20/ERC223 tokens.

As you might know, Coinbase does not support ERC20/ERC223 tokens, so to invest your will need Trust Wallet (download Trust app for Android or iOS and follow video with step-by-step guide to set it up).

Now you are fully prepared to invest into any ICO.

We will start by sending ETH you want to invest into your Trust Wallet.

Log into your Coinbase account and click on “Ethereum”. Hope your account has grown since you opened it last time :)

Click icon in the top right corner to send your ETH. Here you need to decide how much you want to invest.

Now you need to launch the Trust app to get the address of your wallet. Go to settings, select a wallet where you want ETH to go, click (i) and click “Copy Address”.

After that you should get back to Coinbase — paste your address into “to” field and click send. Now, you should be able to see ETH in your Trust Wallet!

Click on ‘Send’ button on your wallet home screen.
Enter the ‘address’ in your crowdsale account where you are asked to transfer Ether in ‘Recipient Address’ field.
Enter the amount of ETH you want to participate in the crowdsale with in ‘ETH Amount’ field (TIP: Have 1–2 ETH more in your wallet than you are planning to spend on the ICO to pay miners to confirm your transaction — gas price*gas limit)

Click on ‘Next’
Click on the settings button (Gear icon) on top navigation bar
The Gas Price and Gas Limit will be selected by default. (Usually preset values are high enough to let the transaction go through quickly, but if you are worried or given other directions by the ICO, you can change them).
Enter data provided in your crowdsale account in ‘Transaction Data (Optional)’ field
Click on ‘Save’
Click on ‘Send’ and record TxHash for reference
You just invested in ICO. Congrats! You should receive your ERC20 or ERC223 tokens soon. They will appear in you wallet automatically! 🎉🎉🎉
