Overview of the project DAV Network - a revolutionary form of organization in the field of transportation services.

Introduction

   What is included in the concept of "transportation services"? We all approximately represent and understand, but if you dig a little deeper, then:  THE MARKET FOR TRANSPORT SERVICES is the sphere of carrying passengers, cargo, cargo luggage and luggage, maintenance and repair of vehicles, auxiliary auxiliary and other types of work (services) related to transportation. Agree, a little wider than you imagined.

   But at the moment, this sphere is becoming very problematic, due to the constantly growing number of vehicles and most cities simply can not cope with such a number of vehicles and everything changes only for the worse. The average driver of a megapolis spends 1 - 1.5 hours in traffic jams (try to count for yourself), it would seem, not so much, but if you combine this time spent, you can not be slightly upset how much a year goes into "empty" ... But a lot of traffic jams are created not because of the problems of the transport network of adjusting all possible crossroads, but because of irrational use of vehicles. I will give a simple example: in my city at rush hour it is impossible to drive in the city center, not because the traffic light turns green only for 20 seconds, but because on the three-lane road only the central lane is moving, as cars are parked on the side lanes. And this is just one of the many problems of transport services.

  And everyone understands that it can not go on like this any more, because with each passing day technologies are developing all the more grandiose and our project - DAV - is coming to the aid of all this transport madness, which will be discussed further.

The essence of the project

   DAV Network (Decentralized Autonomous Vehicles) is a decentralized transport platform based on blocking and smart contract technology. The project creates an infrastructure that will allow autonomous transport to discover each other and users, and the use of ERC-20 DAV tokens makes it possible for autonomous vehicles to make transactions between themselves.

  In January 2018, at the FINWISE summit in Macau, executive director Noam Kopel presented the DAV Network project to the general public. As it happened, see below.

   If not everything was clear, then read on :) DAV Network is a decentralized marketplace where everyone can sell and buy services provided by autonomous vehicles. The created communication protocol is cross-platform and will work on any autonomous vehicles. DAV developers distinguish three categories of users:

• Suppliers of autonomous vehicles (Lessor);
• Buyers of services provided by autonomous vehicles providers (Users);
• Servicing companies autonomous vehicles - charging autonomous vehicles, washing, parking, repair (Servicing services).

  For all three groups, a DAV token will be used as payment, which will support and develop the entire ecosystem of the autonomous transport system.

  Of course, such a large and absolutely necessary project is simply obliged to have a strong team and it is there! Nick Johnson is a blockbuster technologist working for the Ethereum team; Tal Eter is a blockbuster technologist, developer of many R & D projects; Alan Messer is an adviser to DAV Network, one of the world leaders in the field of advanced software; Scott Horowitz - aerodynamics adviser, astronaut NASA; and of course the executive director of DAV Network - Noam Kopel - developer of products for data encryption.

ICO

  The main token of the project begins on April 30 and, of course, I would like to see the "reduced pressure" of the cryptomania over by this time, but as it were there, the project has absorbed the best of technologies and is an important leap forward, into the future transport world. Currently, there is a private safe for large investors and pools, for them a good bonus of 55% is provided, but these bonus tokens will be blocked for 6 and 9 months, in half.

   In the end I would like to tell a little story related to the past work. Literally a little over a week ago, I attended the All-Russian Technology Festival PROFEST (as the organizers say, the largest in Europe). In foreign Europe to visit certainly did not happen, but this festival is really very large-scale. So one of the priorities of this festival is the autonomous behavior of transport and robotic systems. It was very interesting to watch how very young yet certainly talented minds try to adjust the sensors and cameras to recognize the road and air range, to stabilize their fully autonomous vehicle, albeit in a miniature form :)

  So, in my opinion, the future of the DAV Network project should be the brightest, but for now we will monitor the further development of the project.
