In my original post, I announced that now we can buy gold with Steem. I do not know my post will get a response like that!

There is a request for a more detailed explanation of the process. So Steemians .... here we go :)

Once you have a Goldmoney account, in the main dashboard click "deposit".

Then "additional options"

then "cryptocurrencies"

after reading IMPORTANT MESSAGES

then click "next" (this will choose Dubai vault)

Select STEEM from the drop down

and select the amount to be sent

Enter the address of the sender.

(I use steemit, but this is not necessarily recommendation .... Make sure which word you use, you start with lowercase or do not work) and click "process"

Go to your steemit wallet and click "transfer" next to STEEM and enter "shapeshiftio" whose contents are "To". Then enter the SAME amount you enter for your Goldmoney deposit.

Go back to your Goldmoney page, copy it all after "memo:" in the line below (it should start with the word "shapeshift"

Return to your steemit transfer, paste it in "memo" and press "send"

Authentication

You should see a notification in your Goldmoney account near the bell

and pending purchases in "recent activity"

This may take a while until gold is verified for you. Check the Goldmoney.com help section http://goldmoney.com/r/6lfQRK for estimated pending time.

Congratulations you changed your STEEM, into gold.
