The conspiracy theorist in me thinks this is all happening by design. Everyone involved in cryptocurrency now is testing the future of finance and commerce. The system is ready to crash and the crypto network will already be tested and proven and ready to save the day. Seems like a plot from Mr.Robot, but I don't think it's very far off.
