As many of you here, I got hooked up in what Blockchain means to the greater society. Decentralization is totally opposite to the way our society is now organized, and thinking of all the applications and different alternatives to the current way of living makes me dig deeper into the subject. As there were so many aspects that a decentralized system can change, I was overwhelmed by the multitude of applications in real life of Blockchain. I was reading many articles online, but the more I've been reading, the more new things I discovered and the more lost I felt.
Because of this reason, I've decided to buy "Blockchain Revolution", book written by two brothers, Alex & Dan Tapscott, which you can find more about yourself. The essence of the book is to comprise all the possibilities blockchain can bring to the world, or as they say :

The first part of the book is about defining the terms, and starts with explaining the basics of blockchain, describing it as the "trust protocol". The focus is very much on the human side rather than on the technology itself, as it shows the potential of the many against of the few (decentralized vs centralized authority). After that, it goes into describing the seven principles of the blockchain economy: 1)Networked integrity; 2)Distributed power; 3)Value as incentive; 4) Security; 5) Privacy; 6)Rights preserved; 7)Inclusion. Sounds like the perfect world, isn't it?
The second part of the book is more about how blockchain can be used to transform society, and it touches different sectors and industries, such as: financial services, businesses, way of living, inclusion and entrepreneurship, government and democracy, and even the music industry.
The third and last part of the book is discussing the 10 implementation challenges of blockchain and what it takes to overcome them, followed by a vision of how the world will look like in the new digital age.
