Bringing more digital currency exchange leadership to Spotcoin
Spotcoin is proud to announce the newest addition to our advisory team. We are honored that Tamar Menteshashvili joins us, bringing a wealth of blockchain experience and financial insight. Based in Shanghai, China, this Georgian woman is pushing the boundaries of blockchain technology, and with her, we are well on our way to making digital currencies work for everyone.

At Spotcoin, we cannot help but praise her impressive body of work. Tamar founded Expread, a new back-end platform integrating blockchain technology-based solutions that change the way cryptocurrency exchanges are established and operated. Her advice will help meet or beat our deadline to establish the Spotcoin retail exchange, and exceed our high compliance standards through streamlined technical advances. But don’t take our word for it.

“Providing direct access to digital assets for each individual will be a key aspect of blockchain mass adoption in the upcoming years,” said Tamar Menteshashvili. “The Spotcoin team has set a clear value proposition and has been very successful in bringing this ethos to the Black Sea Region so far. Diverse backgrounds, the right attitude and energy behind this team are factors that impressed me most of all,” she added.

“As an advisory team member to Spotcoin I hope to bring my own experience and perspective on board.”

We are not finished with our praises for her either! Not only is she founder of Expread, she is currently pursuing her doctorate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a focus on blockchain technology and financial innovation. That is in addition to her Masters of Law from the University of Edinburgh and Bachelor’s from the Free University in Tbilisi.

When she’s not working on her doctorate and running her company, she is an external legal consultant to the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan, advising on the use of smart contracts and Blockchain technology in the notary services and property rights registration. On top of that, she acts as Asia Operations Manager for lawless.tech, an online magazine with up-to-date coverage on the regulatory attempts and oversight of cutting-edge technology.

We don’t know how she finds the time, and yet she’s privileged us with her insight.

“From the moment I met Tamar I knew I wanted to work with her,” says Spotcoin CEO Tim Gick. “She is a brilliant professional, and with her help Spotcoin will really push the boundaries and continue building our fintech innovations. We appreciate her energy and incredible work ethic, and look forward to discovering what we can accomplish together.

Tamar played an important role in making Spotcoin’s first-ever Black Sea Blockchain Summit a success earlier this year. With Tamar’s advice, Spotcoin is on track to fulfilling our mission to provide simple liquidity for all digital currency users.
