I recently discovered one blockchain game that is built on Hive. The game is called "The Rising Star". The game is still on its early stage, as such your gaming experience may get affected. Like most blockchain games, The Rising Star Game lets you earn Starbit Tokens when you play the missions. Starbits can be exchanged to Hive using the Hive-Engine.
How do you get Started?
I would assume that you already have a Hive account since you're most likely reading this from a popular front-end interface like PeakD or Hive.Blog. If you do not have a Hive account yet, then head on to HiveonBoard.com for your free account today.
Once you have your account, it's best to download Hive Keychain extension on your browser. Use your Hive Keys on the Keychain, and all you need to do once you've completed the set-up is to click on the login link found on the top right section of the main page. Type in your Hive account username, and in a few seconds your Keychain will prompt you to grant access to the page. Just click on "Confirm", and you should be good to go.
If you wish to play the game on your mobile, you can also do this by clicking on the "Generate New Mobile Link" button on the main page, scan the QR code on your mobile device, and you will be directed to a mirror page on your phone where you can access the game to complete the missions.
When you're ready, simply click on the mission tab or the "Start the Mission" button. Click on Illegal Busking to begin earning Starbits every few minutes while listening to some really good music from independent artists.
Pretty cool concept to integrate Indie music on this game. :-)
How to Play?
New players will only be able to access "Illegal Busking" as mission in Hometown Zone. However, over time, and as you gain more fans and experience in the game, you'll be able to unlock more missions and zones. Play as many "Illegal Busking" missions in the game to unlock more missions.
One thing I like about this game is that you can easily use other tokens too to buy items or cards from the market.
To get more fans in the game, players can buy them by buying Fan Boost Cards from the market, or you can also get "Drunk Fans" whom you get whenever you complete missions. However, unlike your permanent fans, 'drunk fans' will usually forget you after 12 hours, so make sure to make the most of them!
How to make the most of the Game?
In order to progress in the game, one must make more missions with higher XP rewards and Starbits. There are cards though that will make your progress a lot faster. Cards can grant bonuses like more fans or maybe refill energy. These awesome cards can be purchased from the marketplace using your cryptocurrency tokens.
