Yesterday (23/07/2018) EOS Argentina pushed the system contract upgrade proposed by the Block One team. This upgrade will introduce a new function called setramrate that will allow Block Producers to easily manage the amount of RAM added to the system.
Gradually increasing Ram supply is a fairly straight forward approach that can be easily implemented if 15 Block Producers sign the proposed transaction.
The versions used to compile the system contract were:
- EOS v1.0.8
- eosio.wasmsdk v1.0.0
- eosio.contracts v1.1.0

We invite all the Block Producers to validate the system contract proposal before signing it:

The proposal has an expiration date of 30/07/2018.
EOS Argentina will sign the proposal after it has been carefully reviewed by other BPs and community members.
