I did not know Blocktrades, from the looks of it seems similar to Shapeshift but with a lot less currencies and options. One of my issues with this kind of service is that the fees are not transparent. I don't have a problem paying fees for convenience, but transparency is key.
Great point. I think the next rebate or contest will touch on this. That initially was going to be the format for this post, so that steemians with more blocktrades experience can teach these things. Overall, i think there is a way to know these transaction fees. Let's see how it goes!
I love blocktrades and I wanted to convert some steem to bitcoin before the 1st of August anyway. I added the screenshot, I love blocktrades, honestly some websites or webshops to order food can take up processing time up to an hour. Which is simply insane if I want a pizza I have to order about 2 hours ahead.
So how fast was @blocktrades in this experience? Will send out your rebate! On the side what wallet do you use to hold your bitcoin? Do you know much about bitshares. Wondering if it is possible to have bitcoin private keys if one holds bitcoin on bitshares being that it is a decentralized exchange
