34 people are being treated at the hospital due to illness by calling the Kulakhani in Kahalu upazila of Bogra. Doctors thought that they could have diarrhea. Kahalu Upazila Health Complex, 7 people and Nandigram Upazila Health Complex, 27 people have been infected.
Abdur Rauf, Mahabur Rahman, Shah Alam, who came to Nandigram Hospital, said that the kulkhani (Majlis) was held in the village of Pirata of Zamagram Union of Kahalu Upazila on Friday. There were about 3,000 people returning home after eating kulkhani food and drink.
They came home from the day they suffered from stomach ache, diarrhea and fever. They were admitted to different places including Kahalu and Nandigram Health Complex. On Sunday morning 27 people were admitted to Nandigram Health Complex.
Alamgir Alam Kamal, chairman of Jamgram Union Parishad of Kahalu upazila, said that 50 people were taken ill with the help of Kulkhani, who got sick and treated in different hospitals and clinics. Food poisoning can happen in this case, he said.
