Across State Lines

Had a question, Godfather, yeah, not too much. A question is just a couple of comments. So maybe you can talk a little bit about, you know, what you're thinking about from a corporate standpoint with respect to, you know, defi expansion, or other things, you know, over and above, you know, straight staking as you're doing that. Yeah, thank you. Godfather.

Great questions. I'll try to, you know, riff on that a little bit and then go straight into the heart of the heart of the question with define and staking. So you're absolutely right in the sense that, you know, telegram is not yet as ubiquitous in the US as it is outside of the US, although Asia is tons largest market, unsurprisingly, given Asia as being the by far most populous continent. You know, India will have 202 50 million telegram users a month. It's massive in Southeast Asia. You know, it's banned in China, unsurprisingly, because it's arguably freedom tech and but it's big in the Middle East. It's big in Africa. It's, of course, big in Europe and so forth, and and again, I wouldn't underestimate the growth, though, you know, Telegram, you know, in the US, is largest market in terms of iOS growth, it's been topping the download charts. You know, no single messenger has won the US yet, by the way, like, you know, just taking the perspective, you know, for the US, right?

You know, because it was a large, you know, homogenous country, effectively, where there was no roaming fees, you know, between sending SMS and text messages, you know, across state lines.

It wasn't the case in Europe. In, of course, emerging markets, you know, you send a text like, you know, 15 years ago, from France to Germany, you pay roaming prices. So WhatsApp and other messenger apps have become much more ubiquitous outside the US than inside the US.
