RE: Open Letter, Website Archive

If you are just holding this hive for others, you would do best to powerup your hive and keep your hbd in savings.
Use hive.vote to follow somebody's trail and you will get 100% of the curation rewards.
This brings a ~12% return on the account.
~3% for holding hp, and ~9% for curation.
Hbd gets 15% at this time.

Since you are archiving the work of another, it will be best practice to set rewards to burn.
Your curators still get their half, and you don't use the work of another to earn money, which is a cardinal sin in the hive.

I speak up because the flag monster is ever present and if you get on his list it is near impossible to get back off.
They think you know what you did as your account is old enough to know 'the rules'.

This is all good advice, if you can stomach automating voting. I do not want to be equal to toasters, so I don't automate my voting, and I don't care about some % return for my abnegation of my autonomy.

He's especially right about the flaggots.

I hope Ben's all right and gets back to work. I say this having an existential crisis myself regarding overwork at the present. I think I just need a day off, which I don't recall having since 2023 sometime. It's weird how you always remember your first love, but the last one just slips out of your fingers. Days off are kinda like that, apparently.

If you follow 'good' people then autovoting is not an issue.
This is why I don't do it with my main account, I can't find somebody that only votes what I consider 'quality' or 'free speech'(things I disagree with).

I think I just need a day off,

When one turns down work, work begins to turn you down.
Turn your phone off for a week, if that is your thing, and those that keep calling are the ones to value most.

Only you can control the fire in your mind.
