#TechTipOfTheDay

Today, I'm going to tell you about something called as a Google Dork. Google Dorks are searching techniques that enhance and filter your search results saving you time and also giving search results that you actually want.

Now, there are many Google Dorks out there. Hundreds and thousands of them. But you only need to know the ones that you would actually need in real life.

For example:

If you want to watch a TV Series/Movie but don't have Netflix/Amazon Prime or whatever, just type this query on Google (without quotes):

"Series/moviename -inurl:(html | htm | php | pls | txt) intitle:index.of"

OR

"index of:series/moviename"

And it will return results from where you can easily download or watch that particular TV Series/ Movie. You can easily find any movie/series that is a little old(like a year or two or even older).

But if it is a relatively new series/movie(released in the last few days), there is a huge chance that you might have to go deep into 5 or 10 pages of results or even deeper to find it. And it might still not be there. Having said that, I think this is still a method worth a try if you're trying to find any movie/series. Like in the imag, we have what we want in the third result itself even though this is series that just came out I think a month or so ago.

There are other Google Dorks as well.

"filetype:pdf Java" will only give you search results that are a pdf and on Java. You can use any filetype like mp3, txt, etc.

"site:Wikipedia.com Java" will give search results from Wikipedia that contain the word Java.

"intext:Adam " will give search results as all those pages that contain the word 'Adam'.

These are just a few examples. There are hundreds and thousands of such Google Dorks that can be used to find out specific results through Google Searches.
