i am not that informed but from the things i read i don't think ned is evil to me it looks like he just has no idea what he wants to do, and his social skills are on a low level. but maybe i am wrong.
And i need to get a "normal" cat, i had 3, now in the last week i have 2 (maybe she will come back) but all of them are not really my cats, they live in my yard, they ask for food (often) but are not the tachy tipes :D you can pet them when they eat but they are not happy about it :D

Id have to disagree with you on ned because hes pure evil. Like how hitler came to power, dictatorship and evil creeps up on people looking like good intentions. Once they show their true colors its too late.
i had a super intelligent cat, one of his great ideas was, as winter started he would sit on the window of the office and wait for a car to pull up, as that happened he moved to the door and with ninja reflexes he was in, people did not even notice him when walking in. Then he would get on your head or keyboard, and when you throw him out the process starts again, but then he would just sit by the heater as he knew that if he is not annoying he will stay inside. and he never jumped on the kitchen table.
as i said i may be wrong about him. i was ignorant about all the drama in my first 6-7 months here, and now i am just informed to the point that i roughly know what is going on, but i still did not get all the good and bad "guys" on the platform.
