I have heard similar stories about people’s beginning in steemit. Signing up and letting the account sit dormant for months before returning. I found steemit through a Crypt podcast as well. It wasn’t described as a community but rather a way to make easy crypto while commenting on posts. Pfft... Thankfully I did some research and found that this was a place I wanted to be. Although I had never thought of having a blog, I had always wanted to write. Congrats on the anniversary. I am approaching half a year in a couple days.

I feel like most people heard first that steemit was a get rich quick opportunity. For some who came early that may have been true, but that definitely isn't the case anymore.
The past couple of months I have been active on here have gone by so fast so I know your 1 year will be here before you know it.
