Philippines had 7,107 Island. But only few are in the list for tourists spot that the government open for all the tourist to come in and explore. But there are too many island destination that could be a tourist spot that could be stress reliever but some of the local government is not yet ready to accommodate the local and foreign tourists.
There are also island that is already open for all the visitors as tourist but its not yet popular due to the distance from Manila like here in my Province of Surigao.
Basul island is one of a kind island that found in Surigao City a 15 minutes of travel by boat from surigao port to Basul island.
Among the extensive and majestic coastline of Surigao, Basul island is one of it's numerous to continue to still draw the attention of many traveler. It is a private island with outstanding white sand with cracked seashells and fresh water perfect for refreshing dip.
Basul is small island and there are no rooms available but there are several open air cottages that for rent for 500 pesos.
Basul island is also and island that you can go around the whole island by hiking and from the front of an island you can see the differences when you go round because the back of an island is like rock formations.

My cousin cannot resist not to take photo with this fresh and very clean water.
When where at the back already we have a little struggles because there's no sand to walk in it's all rocks and it's hard because it is slippery.
And when where close to finish our adventure we saw this beautiful seashore with some grasses and coconut trees.
And because we are all tired for our adventure and the sunshine is still strong we all thirsty so we ask the caretaker of the island to buy some coconut fruit for 20 pesos each... The juice is really good and it makes our island tour perfect.
Hope you guys can visit the place it is perfect to be stress reliever due to a quite island and the water is really clean and fresh.
