One time I dated a nice girl. Her therapist convinced her to break up with me over dreams. Her dreams were goals that she absolutely had to have in order to be happy. My dreams were not essential for happiness, as I was content with the things I was capable of right now. Also my dreams were tangible and willing to adapt to hers, and hers were nonnegotiable "wants" to have a big house and go on expensive world vacations. Hope that wasn't too much information. I think dreams are great if they are appreciated more like a unicorn that you can see in your sleep, but you may not ever touch the exact likeness in reality.
