Hello everyone :)!
I finally laid out all the emotions from the amazing event in Dortmund, and I have to say, it was unforgettable. First, a huge thank you to @guiltyparties for giving me this opportunity to represent Hive and share it with so many new people!
The two day event was spectacular. Being surrounded by crypto enthusiasts from all over the world was both inspiring and exhausting, but in the best way possible :)! Hive truly stood out, and I think we made a lasting impression.
Special thanks to @detlev and @lordbutterfly for organizing the HIVE booths at such a high level. Everything looked professional, creative, and welcoming.
To be honest, I was a bit nervous about meeting Hive people in real life. I didnโt know what to expect. But it turned out to be so much better than I imagined!
@detlev, @lordbutterfly, @louis88, @rivalzzz, @roelandp, @sollarwarrior : you were all amazing, helpful, and simply great to be around. Iโm really glad I got to put faces to the names behind so many great posts on here.
The event started bright and early. At the entrance, there were three cars: our Rally car in the middle ๐, Kloppocar on the right, and a McLaren on the left.
The Rally car instantly caught peopleโs attention. Honestly? We had more people gathered around us than McLaren and Kloppocar combined! Visitors were curious about the car, Hive, and what we do. Three people even recognized the car from Rally Portugal!!! That was a surreal moment and it made it more special. It showed just how powerful and unique this kind of promotion can be. And thatโs exactly what we heard there from people. It really showed that people notice and remember, and that the car is a great way to spark interest in Hive. So many of them were surprised and shocked with the car, after all itโs not everyday you see a car thatโs competing at the highest level ;D.
@ssekulji would explain all the details about the car while we both talked about Hive and the reactions were priceless. Many couldnโt believe Hive has no CEO and is truly community driven. They left curious, surprised, and most importantly interested. Some even went straight upstairs to get onboarded. Mission accomplishedโบ๏ธ๐๐ป
Every time I went upstairs, the Hive booth was FULL nonstop conversations, people asking questions, and great vibe all around.
A highlight of the day was @detlevโs speech. Despite the short time, it was clear, impactful, and drew even more people to our booth and the car afterwards. Among all of the exhibitors, we were the only ones truly living and focusing on Web3 and decentralization and that was a huge plus for us.
Also, they loved Detlevโs flowers. What a great idea, team ๐๐ค๐ป!
The second day brought the same: talks, car interactions, new faces, and deeper connections. But I also had a personal highlight: a tour of Borussia Dortmundโs stadium.
TMI confession: when I was a kid, I was a huge Borussia Dortmund fan. I had never been inside a football stadium before, so if you had told me years ago that the first one Iโd ever visit would be the home of my childhood favorite club, Iโd have laughed at you. But there I was! The guide mostly spoke in German (despite a few of us saying we didnโt understand), but still I loved it.
This is a very famous BVB bar that (if I remember correctly) husband and wife have! The beer is really good and the bar is cozy :)
This is the yellow wall. 25,000 people can fit here and the ticket for one season is 350โฌ! They also have it on the other side along the same no chair part for the guest team too. No concerts or anything else is allowed at the stadium.
(@detlev here are the pictures from the tour ๐)
My time in Dortmund was short, and I didnโt get to see everything in the city Iโd hoped for (poor planning on my side ๐คฃ), but it was still a beautiful experience.
Most importantly, Iโm deeply grateful to everyone involved, to the Hive team, and to the Hive community for making this possible. The promotion was unique, impactful, and showed once again how strong we are when we work together.
The flight back home was slightly delayed (classic ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ) but unlike last time I actually landed in Zagreb!
Thank you all once again, and hereโs to many more Hive adventures to come. ๐๐
