You can see here pictures of two works of art by the painter Georg Schrimpf (1889 - 1938) who managed to create a very unique style through his quiet and very idyllic works and he can be counted among the epoch of the New Objectivity. He was born in the German city of Munich and he began to develop a great passion for art early on and painted a lot, but was very much under the pressure of his parents and therefore he took a different path for the first time and made an apprenticeship as a baker and then traveled a lot and visited numerous countries in Europe and when he came back to Germany after a few years, he decided to concentrate on art and taught himself how to paint. Some time later, his works became more and more popular and even exhibited in some well-known galleries, which followed that his name became more and more known and he received more orders and numerous artistic magazines also became aware of him and advertised his art. He himself moved around a lot in artistic circles and sometimes visited exhibitions together with groups and he was also open when it came to the choice of new motifs and he also liked to paint still lifes, portraits, animals or other topics. Later he was also appointed to an art school as a professor and despite his great passion for art, he had many hurdles in his life and was often oppressed and it even happened that his works were partially destroyed. In the course of his career, a change of his style can be seen and at the beginning his works still seemed relatively simple and became more and more authentic as well as detailed over time and especially this comes into their own with landscape paintings like this one, which creates an extremely realistic and soothing flair and even when it came to the choice of stylistic devices, Schrimpf was considered extremely diverse.
