Here are some works of art that I created with the help of artificial intelligence and are supposed to bring the Greek city Athens a little closer. Athens was already considered an important city in ancient Greece and the traces can already be traced back thousands of years and it is assumed that this was already over 7000 years ago and date back to the Neolithic period. According to some legends, the first founder of the city was the King Cecrops who considered himself the ruler of the Attic state and he founded several villages and he built his castle in Athens on the Acropolis and among the gods once a dispute over the domination broke out and they tried to impress the people and the sea god Poseidon created a source for the people with the help of his trident so that people never had more thirst and the goddess of wisdom Athena created the olive tree and the population decided on the gift of Athena and the city was named after her and since then, she has been considered the patron goddess of Athens. Athens was already known at that time for the many poets and artists who lived there and some of the most famous poets like Plato lived here and it quickly became one of the largest and most powerful centres of Greece which was full of old buildings or castles and it was an important educational centre and is considered the first democracy from a political point of view.

The everyday life of society was similar to that of that time and there are many parallels to the way of life of todays families and also from an economic point of view, Athens was very strong at the time and a very important trading centre and well developed when it came to different sectors and from the 15th century, Athens was long in the hands of the Ottoman Empire and a few centuries later it became an independent city again. Most monuments such as the well-known Acropolis remained in very good condition for a long time and undamaged until in the 17th century many of the buildings have been destroyed or damaged in the battle between the Venetian troops and the Ottoman Empire and Acropolis was also considered the seat of the gods and many temples were built there in their honour. To this day, Athens is probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world and received towards the end of the 20th century even the award as Unesco World Heritage Site and also the first Olympic Games of modern times took place in Athens in 1896 and the traces of the first Olympic Games can be traced back to the year 776 BC where the first games in honour of the god Zeus were organised in the city of Olympia.
