Good day dear Hive community, as always I would like to welcome you at the beginning of my contribution and hope you are all well! In my new post, I would like to discuss the history of art and hope you can expand your knowledge a little.
Here you can see an adorable painting which was painted with oil on canvas and presents an idyllic and natural landscape with a haystack and I find the painting looks extremely lively and detailed and conveys a suitable mood through the perfect color scheme and who takes a closer look at the picture also recognizes how authentic the mountain landscape and the clouds in the sky create an inviting overall picture and the artist has managed to convey the feeling as if you were in the place. The painter is the German artist Hermann Ebers (1881 - 1955) who was born in Leipzig and during his childhood together with his family he went to Munich and in his free time or in the summer he often visited in the countryside where his father lived who was a writer and had a house there and he decided to study art and furthermore he was also interested in creating illustrations for books and in this regard he was probably shaped by his father. Herman Ebers was particularly influenced by landscape painting and he was also considered very close to nature and often visited quiet places in nature to be inspired and he managed to create a particularly good exposure in his paintings. At that time, he often participated in exhibitions in the Munich area and in his later years he also had a studio in Munich and during the the Second World War he was considered a suppressed artist and some of his works were even destroyed at that time and he also painted some still lifes and paintings of animals in addition to landscapes and he was also responsible as an illustrator for the creation of illustrations of over 20 books.
