You can see here a very uniue oil painting by the painter Ludwig Sckell (1833 - 1912) who had focused particularly on depicting landscapes and this work of art looks extremely authentic and he has worked with a great attention to detail which creates an extremely lively mood due to the chosen colors. The painting definitely looks very inviting and creates a feeling for the viewer as if he were on this place himself and it is remarkable how he managed to create a special flair with the play of the fog and the work generally looks extremely realistic and creates a amazing effect that goes into depth. Sckell has already grown up very true to nature and his father was a gardener and he himself developed a passion for art early on and decided to study art in the city of munich and he concentrated exclusively on landscape painting. In his spare time, he loved to travel around the area and was inspired by landscapes and he was particularly impressed by the Bavarian scenery and he moved around a lot in artistic circles and has received numerous honors during his life. He was also considered an honorary member of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and can also be counted to the genre of Biedermeier as well as late romanticism and his works have a high recognition value and I was very pleased to be able to photograph one of his works.
