Meet My Pets Series: Loki

in #blog6 years ago

Loki is my oldest pet, at almost 6 years old! He has a lot of attitude and spunk, and is very active for an older cat. He is not much for being held, but he does like to be pet and cuddled in the mornings :) He is a very social cat, and likes to be wherever the people are! He loves company , but appreciates it from afar, resting on the tops of the cupboards, or his cozy cat tower, coming down to say hi as he pleases :)

He loves to get up in the cupboards any time that i am not looking ( if i turn my back for a moment while putting away the dishes, there he is !!)

He also loves anything similar to boxes, even pots and pans ! When i was making my plum jelly he snuck into this juicer pan :)

He likes to bring my fiance and i presents, in a wide variety of his toys , meowing crazily as he runs down the hall to get our attention and drop it at our feet :) He plays fetch, but not consistantly, but i have been trying to train him with the incentive of treats :)

He enjoys long naps in the fresh laundry :D

But he definitely prefers to have his own space!! You can see he was not impressed when Eris tried to join his laundry lounge for the first time!

Loki was an only cat for over 5 years before we got our kitten, so it took some time for him to adapt to not being the only feline in the house. He was definitely hesitant about letting her too close, but over time they have bonded, and now they are best friends and are never far from each other :) ![1005171326.jpg]

We have enjoyed every moment of watching Loki grow up from an adventurous spunky little kitten into a full grown man-cat !

Having two cats is a lot of work but we love them and could not imagine our lives without our fur babies :)

Thanks so much for reading!
