Sometimes I hate the fact that we are reluctant to even assert our feelings or voice out something we've been bottling up. Don't you think it's regretful to keep one word that might probably be a twist in the plot of our story.
"If only I would've told my mom I loved her more often." You had the chance to, but you underestimated time.
"If only I could tell her/him I like her/him." Babe you could've, but you were too scared for their response.
Climb every peak and mountain you want to climb. Travel and go to places on your own. Swim in hundreds of beaches and feel the sand in different shorelines. Go skydiving and forget that you're acrophobic. Do the things that makes your blood shiver in excitement and your heart pounding every single second of it. Do whatever makes you happy.
We never really know what the future holds. But what we know is that everything is connected. One word can change your life and one action will decide your fate. And that right there is scary enough but not enough to limit yourself and live in fear. Risks are terrifying but are oddly satisfying whdn taken.
You have forgotten that you can only write one book, one story with hundreds of chapters. You can never get the chance to write another. You'd have lots of chances to write other chapters, thousands of it but you can never write a new story.
So suck it up. Try to make the most out of everything before you decide to regret the choices you failed to make and opportunities you missed to take.
You only live one life. Love wholeheartedly, cry, feel and just be human. Allow yourself to feel and just be be yourself. Never imprison yourself with the thought that you could've done better when you knew you would've if you didn't limit yourself to it.
Do not be a prisoner of your own story.
