Some Of The Struggles

in #blog21 days ago

We can't save everybody and it isn't our job to save everybody. So there will be people that we simply observe, we learn from, and you recognize what they're doing and you take in the information to understand who those individuals are as a leader. You may be understanding what their character is, their personality traits, some of the struggles, and you just learn from it.

And that's a great, that's a great example and an opportunity where you can say, hey, you know, I've noticed some things here the past couple of weeks. Do you mind if I give you some feedback? And let them say, yes, I want some feedback. And if they say no, then now, you know, well, keep it to yourself and you let them do what they want to do until they decide that they want help.

And that will help save you the stress. And so don't let someone else's continuous missteps frustrate you because that's their life, that's their choice if they don't want to do better. As long as it doesn't impact what you're doing, it doesn't impact your livelihood.

Don't let someone else's stuff stress you out. Don't carry that. But that's a great opportunity to ask for permission if they want some feedback.

So, Tim, I don't know if we're reading the same book or like our minds are connected. I was thinking about that with Judith. Judith, I can tell by the way you spoke that you're an introvert.

And why that was so easy to recognize is I had to learn how to communicate with someone that's an introvert. So I had to learn to mirror the energy. If the person is talking slower, I have to bring it down and let my words match that person.
