What I've learned is that no matter who it is, I always keep in mind that we're all human. We're all human. And there will probably be some things that if I if I knew about them, I would be like, I just don't know about that.
So I just give people that grace. And I've experienced that with some folks, you know, where you would least expected certain behaviors to be demonstrated. And that's been very helpful for me in terms of dealing with people to not retaliate or attack, because I know it can happen to the to the best of the best where they have a bad day.
And that's why it's so important for us to pause to try to understand what's going on. Someone could be having simply having a bad day. They could have gotten off of a phone call five minutes before you enter their presence.
That just devastated their world or frustrated them to no end. And now you happen to be the one that pushes the button that opens the pressure valve. And now all the steam hits you in the face.
It wasn't intentional. It's just sometimes we we explode. And this is why I want you all to be very careful, especially in your relationships.
It's so important that when things bother you, don't let them fester. Figure out how to have the conversations, how to say the things that are hard to say. And yes, I know they can be difficult sometimes.
SourceThey can be scary and you're worried about what are they going to think? How are they going to feel? I think we're going to argue about this. But if you don't have that conversation, then you're going to be upset. There's the potential for resentment.
