It's just, I'm sitting back saying, okay, we've fought the fight. We have gotten a lot of good stuff in this very sucky bill. It is a sucky bill.
Let's just be honest. It's not sucky in trying to denigrate the good parts. It's sucky because we had a historic opportunity to radically reduce spending on the nondiscretionary side, which is really the worst and most difficult part of what we're trying to do to get this country back in line, and it's just crazy, and Republicans are just scared to death to do it.
They always have been. Democrats want all that stuff. They love it, and it just amazes me.
The Congressional Black Caucus was out yesterday about decrying the bill, and part of their arguments that I heard, it was in the background because it had C-SPAN on while the votes were being held open.
