Who is your favorite member of the akatsuki ? Even though I love itachi, I'm gonna have to go with nagato(pain) on this one. My reasoning is simply his character. Even after spending years as a criminal, in the end he gave his own life to restore the lives of innocent people. That speaks alot to his character, and thats the reason he is my favorite akatsuki member.
