I'm not a mother, but heard about 'busy boards' last year from one of my friends. I ran with that concept and put something together for my cat. She loves it.

Back to your comment- yeah, those busy boards are life saver. Kids can just spend a lot of their time on it. There are lots of other concepts like a "busy book" which I also contemplated on doing.but hey were too complicated and time consuming so I didnt try anymore. 😉
