In these texts, Jesus demonstrates his compassionate gaze in the face of need. He sympathized with the lost, confused, and weary. He didn't seek to distance himself from this type of person; he saw potential in them, people who were not yet what they would become.
When we read that the harvest is plentiful, it means there are many opportunities. There is a great need for faith and hope in people. Many are waiting for someone like us to guide them or simply for us to lend our ears to listen. But this is where the word shows us that the laborers are truly few, since many see the work to be done, but very few are willing to act.
While the Lord invites us not to do everything, but to be part of it as a laborer, able to carry out our task, making Jesus known in multiple ways, essentially our way of life. God is not finished; He continues to seek laborers. He continues to seek people willing to present their talent and time before God to make a difference in this world. The field is ready. Are you ready?
Let's think about the following: let's not underestimate the power of actions because perhaps what we are doing is the answer to the prayer of someone in need. Let's ask God to use us and place our lives in His hands and thus be laborers in His vineyard.
Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

Jesús demuestra en estos textos su mirada de compasión ante la necesidad, el simpatizaba con las personas perdidas, confundidas y cansadas, él no buscaba alejarse de este tipo de persona, él veía en ellos un potencial, personas que todavía no eran lo que llegarían a ser.
Cuando leemos que la mies es mucha quiere decir que hay muchas oportunidades, hay muchísima necesidad de fe y esperanza en las personas, muchos están esperando que alguien como nosotros les oriente o simplemente que prestemos nuestros oídos para escucharlo. Pero aquí es donde la palabra nos muestra que los obreros son realmente poco ya que muchos ven el trabajo por realizar pero muy pocos están dispuestos a actuar.
Si bien el señor nos invita no a que hagamos todo pero si a que seamos parte como un obrero pudiendo efectuar nuestra tarea dando a conocer a Jesús de múltiples maneras esencialmente nuestra forma de vivir. Dios no termina, sigue buscando obreros, sigue buscando personas dispuestas a presentar delante de Dios el talento y su tiempo para marcar una diferencia en este mundo, el campo está listo ¿tú estás dispuesto?.
Pensemos en lo siguiente, no subestimemos el poder que tienen las acciones porque quizás lo que estamos haciendo es la respuesta de la oración de alguien que está necesitando, pidamos a Dios que nos use y pongamos nuestra vida en sus manos y así ser obreros de su viña.
Entonces dijo a sus discípulos: A la verdad la mies es mucha, pero los obreros pocos. Rogad, pues, al Señor de la mies, que envíe obreros a su mies.
