Today, God's word reminds us of a central truth in the Christian life: there is absolutely no mediator between God and us, except Jesus.
We don't need complicated rituals or ceremonies, nor do we need to depend on other people to speak directly with God. Jesus himself opened the way through the sacrifice he made on the cross at Calvary, and through him we can approach the Father. Jesus is the only mediator.
This means that we can approach God directly with confidence, with complete freedom and assurance, knowing that Jesus Christ himself intercedes for us before God. This also reminds us that we are not alone, we are not lost, and we are not far from God. In Jesus Christ, we have direct access to God's love, forgiveness, and grace.
So today, more than ever, we must remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that he is the one who connects us to the very heart of God.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.

Hoy la palabra de Dios nos recuerda una verdad central en la vida cristiana, no hay absolutamente ningún mediador entre Dios y nosotros, solamente Jesús.
Aquí no necesitamos rituales o ceremonias complicada, no necesitamos depender de otras personas tampoco para hablar directamente con Dios, Jesús mismo abrió el camino a través del sacrificio llevado a cabo en la cruz del calvario y hoy a través de él podemos llegar al padre, Jesús es el único mediador.
Esto significa que nosotros podemos acercarnos directamente con confianza delante de Dios, con total libertad y convicción ya que tenemos la seguridad que el mismo Jesucristo es quien intercede por nosotros delante de Dios. Esto también nos recuerda que no estamos solos, no estamos perdidos y mucho menos estamos lejos. En Jesucristo tenemos acceso directo al amor al perdón y la gracia de Dios.
Así que hoy más que nunca debemos recordar que Jesucristo es el mismo ayer hoy y por los siglos y él es quien nos conecta al mismo corazón de Dios.
Porque hay un solo Dios, y un solo mediador entre Dios y los hombres, Jesucristo hombre.
