I haven't watched Lauren's video, I'm not really a fan, but that sounds like a properly empowering & expansive seminar. Always nice to hear about such things being offered on a large scale.
I personally just write about what is present for me, what I'm processing at the time, or things that other people have asked me to touch on. The fact that Steemit has a financial aspect is purely a bonus to me, I just enjoy having an outlet & an audience, having people who really read my content and open conversations. I appreciate the input, but I'm not going to shift what I write about (any more than the constant shifting that's already there) unless it feels like what I need next.
