Did I tell you guys about when I met the Oma? Forget. But no, I got to do a workshop with him a long time ago. And no, I just thought it was really interesting because when he was younger, one of his teachers told him, like, you know, he was practicing a lot, right? And one of his teachers said, hey, stop playing the cello, get a life, you know? And then so he banned him from playing his instrument for like a year or two just so he could have like do normal things, right? I feel like that's important to you, right? Just like do normal things.
Just like eat food. I know you do that too now, but you know, eat food, you know, just like play some games, right? Have fun. Like, like, I don't know.
Yeah. Two things that are often undervalued are boredom and rest. Both of those things are critical for anything that you're trying to do because you cannot come up with new ideas.
If you are not bored, you need this empty space to create something and then rest is the most valuable because, again, you can't pour from an empty cup. Yep. Like, yeah, no, no.
It's something I had to learn too because I tend to get restless and I want to be doing something all the time, right? But sometimes you don't have to, right? You just look around. Look around and find out, right? Like, yeah. Who knows what happens.
Exactly. Like, life is more complicated than you can plan for. You know what I mean? Yeah.
So you gotta let that go sometimes. Your plans, your idea of health or, yeah. It's important to have some sort of level of flexibility and adaptability because you never know what's going to happen.
You know, what season of your life are you even in? Do you even know? You are not the one making the IMBD. You're just living in the scene. You'll find it later.
Yeah, sure. Because those people have the weirdest metaphors. That's true.
