They're Voting Lockstep

in #blog5 hours ago

I want to see Utah systems changed. We have no transparency on any of our processes, even the primary election, any of the elections. We did a grammar request after the election saying we don't trust these results.

It looked like there were about 40,000 ballots that were front-loaded in it. And we want to look at the castle records and the tabulator tapes and all these things that are available in a lot of other states that have no personal information on it. But to be able to verify the elections and if they immediately were denied, our lieutenant governor responded within 24 hours and said none of these things are available through your grammar request process, which is like FOIA or through the court.

So there's no transparency at all on our election. So I hope to see that change. I hope to see more transparency there so that we can trust our process better and accountability for people who are breaking that trust.

So that's what I hope. Also, just to keep waking people up and letting people know we're watching what's going on and we care about our children and the next generation and we are not going to back down. And we expect our leaders to do to be accountable to us and to follow the principles that they should be protecting our freedoms and we expect better from them.

Same question to you, Tracey, and Nancy, too, since you're a Utahan up here. You too, Sally, but go ahead, Tracey. Same question to you.

I hope to see courage become courageous or contagious because I see a lot of people go silent when others are attacked. Like people will shy away when, I mean, they attack, fail, they'll shy away because they don't want the political hit. And I hope that courage becomes contagious and more people become more involved.

Like a lot of people shy away from, they call it politics. I don't call it politics. I call it freedom.

And if we just, people are, you know, so afraid that their names are getting tainted. At this point, I don't give a crap what the newspaper says about me. I really don't care what people think about me because it's freedom.

If we don't stop it and stop what they're doing, we will have nothing. You know, I had somebody say to me a few days ago that, you know, if you can't get along with people up there on the hill, how can you represent? We don't have representation. They're voting lockstep and they're voting to our demise.
