re.ddit, tw.itter, fac.buk, goo.gle, am.azon, ne.tflux.
I feel sick every time I hear a "news reporter" say, "there's really no alternative to goo.gle" (or one of the others) and "they're too powerful for the government to do anything".
When will people wake up and smell the DECENTRALIZATION?
People do rush into many of their chains, for sure. I believe it becomes an addiction of sorts. I rarely use Google, and will admit it took awhile to get used to not using it. Had no problems giving up Fakebook and never really got Twitter.
I'm not sure having said that there can be such a thing as being totally decentralized. To many hungry for power to allow it, and even more who are desperate for their experts to handle the details.
After watching that Eagleman presentation, I realized that a brain is a HOLACRACY, with each neuron representing a member.
That's why people need to understand HOLACRACY.
