Haha, it would be very interesting to see if Facebook ended up like Myspace. There's still a lot of nice features on Facebook that I haven't really seen anywhere else though; the biggest advantage for me is that everyone I know is on Facebook, so it's very easy to send a message to anyone I could ever need to message.
Yeah that could keep that site going a while. I didn't think of that but there are a lot of apps coming out with steemit so maybe they can still still replace the Facebook messenger.
That would be cool, but the thing is that I think we are still very far away from getting non-technical users to use Steemit. I don't really see my grandmother using Steemit to contact me, but she is able to do that with Facebook Messenger.
I don't mean to say that Facebook is perfect, but they are very good at getting even non-technical people to join their network, which we are currently no so good at here on Steemit.
It took a while for myspace to die out. It will probably be another year or two before Facebook starts going down. Steemit does have a good growth rate.

That's true. I'm really excited to see how many users we will get in 2018 and 2019!
I predict 1000% growth rate each year for the next 2 years. :)
