Mr Robot - Is Elliot in Hell or a Simulation? Is the Season Finale Song Going To Be "Eels - Last Stop: This Town"

in #blog5 years ago (edited)

I may have just solved Mr Robot or at least come up with a trippy possible ending. (spoiler alert possibly)

Let me make my grand prognostication of the year... The season finale song in Mr Robot will be "Eels - Last Stop: This Town" in reference to being dead already and in hell/simulation... (Elliot may be in hell or a simulation)

I put together the Mr Robot thing after much obsession... E-corp... It's named after E. Hugh Everett's son, Mark Oliver Everett, from the Eels!

The hotel White Rose uses in the show Mr Robot is named after E's father, the "Hugh Everett Hotel", and is a reference to the show's climatic project about time travel/alternate dimensions that has not been disclosed yet.

I had absolutely no idea that E's father was the multiverse guy.

WOW!

Is this a shoutout to the band by Esmail or something deeper? Part of the frikken Maze maybe? /sigh lol (see previous post)

I'm also shocked after watching the documentary "Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives" that E didn't know that this was what his father worked on and spent his life theorizing about. That's literally crazy! and the song....

It would fit perfect with a season finale where Elliot think he time traveled but found out he was in a simulation instead...

Now I know where Pickle rick came from

The stupid Carrot in the Eels video.

Angela Moss makes a lot of references to what i am saying if you take what she says in the proper context.
"She Knows..."

But I think that's the big twist that is coming! They are making us think this is all about time travel! When it's actually about resetting the simulation... hence why Whiterose was referred to as the Time Master in season 2 and the references to "hacking time"

This Hacking Time stuff is referenced in the Kung Fury short movie.... With Hasselhoff :D

Also, I am pretty sure "the other one" is Tyrel, and the little boy version of Elliot we see is actually him in upworld (outside of the simulation)

Kung Fury Music Video

In Conclusion

I just want you to picture it, the season finale comes to a close, You unexpectedly learn that the simulation was reset and that Elliot didn't time travel or universe hop (after they make it look like that is what happened earlier in a previous episode), and then that Eels song I posted above starts playing loudly as the screen fades out and the credits start to scroll!

You know I may be right, and if I'm wrong I should be right :) haha

Here, I overlayed it into Elliot's death scene...

Good question.... Where is his mind??? Which server, etc....
Watch this music video, shows a lot with the context from above...

They also used:
Phil Collins - Take me home
talking about being a prisoner his whole life and returning home (to upworld) in this context of the show.

and then
Public Image Ltd. - The Order Of Death (This is what you want... this is what you get - 1984)

That's the simulation talking :P

And then this one, he's been looking at the simulation for so long that he almost forgot it wasn't real :D
