On the days, the economy absolutely relied on the Agricultural productions. That was the time; the Arabic or Hijri year did not match for collection the Agricultural merchandise because of the Tax.
Then he created a brand new calendar to gather the Tax from the people that were absolutely relied on the Agricultural merchandise. That Calendar was named as Bangla calendar and therefore the first day of this calendar called the Pohela Boishakh.
