This has always been my watchword! All my life, great to hear it from an extraneous and reliable source like you.
The main reason why people don't strictly stand with this is simply cheapness, they're ready to be sold for the money, ready to just put anything out in order to get rewards, just anything. Cheapness is same thing as being without shame. The summoner of the "anything for the money" mentality.
