While I understood the reasoning behind Tesla's decision not to include wheel covers due to reported issues with tire damage, I couldn't help but feel that something was missing from the overall look of my Cybertruck. Not only do wheel covers provide a rugged aesthetic to the wheels, but they also serve to improve aerodynamics and enhance efficiency in power usage—a feature I was eager to experience.
Fortunately, Tesla assured us that they are actively working on a solution and will send updated versions of the wheel covers once available. However, in the meantime, I couldn't bear the thought of my wheels looking incomplete with exposed lug nuts and no center cap.
Determined to find a temporary solution, I turned to the internet and came across an Etsy marketplace offering 3D-printed wheel cover alternatives. Despite the somewhat steep price, I was drawn to the unique design options and decided to place an order.
After patiently waiting a couple of weeks, the wheel covers finally arrived, and I wasted no time in installing them on my Cybertruck. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to install, and the transformation they made to the appearance of my wheels was remarkable.
Now, with the sleek and stylish wheel covers in place, my Cybertruck looks complete once again, and I couldn't be happier with the result. While I eagerly await the arrival of Tesla's updated wheel covers, I'm grateful to have found a temporary solution that not only enhances the look of my Cybertruck but also adds a touch of personalization.
