We Need To Track

in #blog21 days ago

I don't think we're ready for collateralised. And. And we tried that. I mean, even think about like just regular web n non-collateralised, like LendingTree and stuff like that, that originally did like the non-collateralised loans and everybody realized, hey,

I have money and no way people have no way to collect it, ha ha ha. Then they just ran off. I think that's problematic, and we have not been there yet.

But I do think that collateralised loans, we do have a few things that we need, and those are primarily things like insurance, and we need to be able to track the location of the collateral. The collateral should not be something like crypto. Right, I'm talking about real-world collateral.

So like for example, and this is the thing that's in the book, is like, for example, if you've got, let's say, a vineyard and you need money for the crop, then you have something like, instead of going and borrowing money from.

From a bank where they'll give you 20 to 40% of whatever you call Collateralised instead, you go and you get drawn NFTS on say 1/2 matured bottle of wine or Brandy, or whatever the hell it is that you make andu you're in the business of producing this. So the likelihood that it will go to. Maturity and being sold is high, but if you get it insured, and then there's someone else who's basically caring for you, who's a third party.

There's a real real-world implications, and you've got it right now; there is already the ability to track and hold all of these things. You know, in the real world, that's what I said, that sounds awesome. But yeah, would definitely probably like DK.
