I bought myself a new enclosure for a bunch of drives that I had lying around, but I made the buy before checking the drives, and 3 of the 5 are DEAD.

Why I didn't
Here's the thing, I didn't have the time, but I crossed my fingers that at least a couple of them were living, and I got the minimum. I need the setup for something that's going on in 2021, but wanted a bit of time to figure out exactly how it fits into the workflow.
This is not something I recommend for people to do if they just want to play with drives lying around.
