I think the most important long term issue with this platform is, that it is only rewarding for bloggers and not so much for just casual viewers. It is just not as interesting as , for example, reddit to browse, because the vote of a casual viewer has no impact of the post being on the front page. So very few posts, a normie might upvote, are going to be there, only the ones that are being upvoted by Bots and Friends.

I agree 100%, the voting distribution and incentives need to improve in someway in order to attract casual viewers that aren't content producers. I am truly optimistic this will happen in the future, just as we evolve the platform likewise will aim to adress its flaws 🙏🏼

Yes and something like official Rules and Moderators, would help alot aswell, so you can't exploit the reward pool and voting bots that much. Now the only people with power are the rich and they are getting more powerful by the minute.
