I Know You Remember

Specifically on the term limits, though, I can't really see Congress term limiting itself out, but that's something that we fought for in the speakers' negotiations. I know you remember that, George.

And then, ultimately, it never came to the floor, so I'm going to try to force a vote on it.

All that to say that they really hate me, but it's okay because the American people are part of it. If your colleagues hate you, you're doing something right. I've learned that.

If your colleagues don't like you, that means you're doing the right thing. But I don't want to take over your space. I just wanted to pop in and say I'm happy that you're, you know, turning over a new leaf and that you're being so positive and not jumping into the fray of those that are trying to cast judgment because, as I'm sure you all know that are listening to this space, Congress is filled with some very interesting characters, and George Santos is by far not the worst one.

Well, I'll say this. That's very sweet of you, but, you know, do you know how I squared away? I created my critics on my own, so for me to go out after them would be for me to ignore the fact that I have completely I would ignore, you know, my transgressions, but I do agree with you that I might be a colorful person. I agree with that, but there's a few way more colorful people.

There's some very interesting things in Congress, and I'm pretty sure that some of those sitcoms are based on that. I agree. I concur.

Can you imagine? Look, if we did a 118th congressional freshman class sitcom, just the first season alone would really be a blockbuster. Anyway, George, have a good day. Thank you so much.

God bless you, Anna. Thank you so much for being here. Appreciate you, my friend.

All right, so that was amazing, a little amazing visit. But, David, do you mind if we go to hands, because Jared's hand is going to fall off. That's what I was just about to say.
