Zombie Wanda
Disney Plus recently released Marvel Zombies, a mini-series of four interconnected animated shorts. Here the zombies aren't just slow and hungry, only really a problem in a horde, or if one sneaks up on you while you sharpen your pointy stick and listen to Wham on your Sony Walkman ... or you inadvertently step on high school crush, as you stroll whimsically through a radioactive dead zone ... so thankful you don't have to get up early for work anymore ... or as you tiptoe through the bullrushes and daisies ... high maintenance tulips are all dead ... as you tiptoe through an unusually smelly marsh ... as you work hard at not waking the dead that lie scattered about like limb-missing mannequins after a post-tornado hit Walmart, in a post-apocalyptic suburb. No these zombies are fast, World War Z fast; and some of them can fly, shoot an arrow with amazing accuracy, command thunder and lightening, and shoot gamma rays from their finger tips and eyeballs.
And all of them, eventually, follow the command of the Scarlet Witch turned zombie queen, Wanda Maximoff. Wanda with her superior consciousness and command of magic, has woken up from her zombie comatose state and concluded the only way to save the world is to through universal mind control, change everyone to a polyannic zombie and play with their vision of reality. There are few holdouts that need a little more convincing; Ms. Marvel, Yelena, and Blade among them; but the Scarlet Witch tends to get what she wants; for this reason, she is delectably fun cosplay to attempt, even if her flesh has begun to rot from her bones and she has taken to hanging out with a posse that smell like formaldehyde and blue cheese.

I began by sacrificing a little thigh length blue cardigan, which I transformed with red acrylic paint. It was necesary to pain both the inside and the out to get a deep enough collar. I found a heavy blazer from out local thrift and removed the collar. This I first covered with red duct tape and then attached with electrical tape to the cardigan. To add a little more structure, I also covered the cardigan's sleeves with duct tape. Finally, I had some fun destroying the hem to give it a more post-H&N look. Can I just say, I loved how I felt in this look:)
A transformation that takes work, but the result is worth it. You look great. In fact, you have the prettiest zombie look I've ever seen. You don't scare me. Well, I don't think that's your goal.
Happy Thursday.
Thank you:) Veery kind. Wanda is pretty until she turns:)
That is absolutely awesome! I am beyond impressed! You did such a fantastic job in that transformation, you put a lot of attention into the details and it really paid off! Funny how that free deliver tends to come on the very slow boat all the way China anymore... It's kind of sad, but it looks great. What a fun character you recreated!
I haven't watched the zombies yet, it's on the list to do when I have some more free time to watch TV. All I can say is wow! Awesome!
